We were not sure if real estate agents were worth it, but Michael and his Team proved us wrong – they are amazing! We worked with them for about four months through a very tough time for buyers in a market with extremely low inventory. Michael is an expert who knows the market and uses data to understand value and market trends. He has excellent skills in negotiation and attention to detail, which helped us avoid potential problems. Michael Straley and his team are simply the best at what they do. Michael holds a Masters Degree in Real Estate and HE TEACHES other agents how to do the job right. How many agents can make that claim? Michael has sold two properties for me in the past few years. These were both rather unusual properties which required unique “outside the box” marketing . He really seemed to enjoy the challenge. He constantly listened to what the market was saying, and he modified the marketing strategy accordingly. Definitely not a “list it and leave it” approach! He’s a true professional. You’re lucky if you can get him!

The Straley Group helped our neighbors sell their house and then they delivered our best real estate experience to date by helping us sell ours. The preparation and inspection process prior to listing our home prevented any surprises and it was smooth sailing from accepted offer to closing. He kept the agent on the phone and submitted a backup offer for us, that evening. Knowing that the home had likely sold. We looked at other properties, but most liked the home we had missed. In the background, he continued to monitor the property noticing it missed a closing deadline, and got our backup offer accepted. Without the professionalism, savvy, and diligence of Mr. Straley and The Straley Team, we would not be in the home we wanted with no other home for sale in that county at the time. It was a remarkable feat from our perspective. All real estate agents cost the same, in our opinion this one and his team are the best value. And that day we had seen three houses he was on crutches from a foot injury as well as it was the coldest day that month.

He made a few suggestions that had been successful recently and which we did. The one we almost didn't do paid off the most, staging. He handled everything for us while we were in Florida after the first meeting and walkthrough at the house. He was in constant communication with us every step of the way. He was a true Blessing. We had offers the first day of listing and had accepted one by day three. There were a few challenging issues during the process and Michael never got flustered but stayed calm and provided sound advice and suggestions. He went the extra mile in finding competent contractors to do the required work, especially within the tight time frame to get to closing. We had the utmost confidence in Michael's honesty and judgment and that proved to be correct. We thank God for leading us to Michael Straley. We asked Him to lead us to the right agent to sell the house we had dedicated to His use over 25 years ago and He did. We ended up selling for $35,000 more than the other agency that we had been considering had suggested.

I have bought and sold eight homes during 55 years of moving around the country using 15 different realtors in the process. In all these transactions I have never encountered a realtor as professional, competent, helpful, imaginative, or hard-working as Michael Straley. Because of advancing age, my wife and I needed to downsize from a very large and elegant home on three acres overlooking a lovely pond to a much smaller house less than half the size on a very small lot in an Over-55 community. Michael and the entire Go Straley team were excellent. Ours was a long process, with many disappointments due to buyers' financing issues, but Michael pressed on.
