I appreciate the patience that was given with guiding me through the process. It was great to be able to handle these things while I was on vacation. I am happy that Wintrust agreed to match the interest rate of another offer that I received. However, it was very time consuming for me to have to shop around for lower rates. My hopes are that when it is time to refinance is that Wintrust will have better rates that are the same or less than other banks/mortgage companies. One major downside was having to open an account and deposit $25K. It just will never sit right with me. It was an excessive amount to request to establish business with Wintrust. Additionally, this condition caused me to have to have to be out and about right after my outpatient surgery. What I liked the most was being able to call Linda directly and not have to sit in a que pressing options to reach a rep. Her availability even after office hours are top notch. I’ve had lower rates before, but I’ve never had the help Linda provided. Thanks again
