This process was a long one to say the least. We continually had to call and ask if things were being done, and in addition had to request a call because emails went unanswered. Literally in the last 48 hours prior to closing we were asked for “proof of a buffer”-tens of thousands of dollars weren’t enough We were told the appraisal wasn’t complete and it may delay us, and finally the morning if we were told the insurance hadn’t been received and had to call ourselves AGAIN to make the closing happen. There were multiple other issues that I’m too busy to list. Honestly the worst service in recent history. You would think such a large purchase would garner some sort of service, which we literally didn’t receive. We’ve had more dedication from lenders with condo and townhome purchases. The process was only made more stressful by the lack of attention to detail and attention to customer service.
