VerifiedClint was always professional and was there to provide help whenever requested. The problem I had with the process of getting the loan relates to the information requested by Peoples that I believe was unnecessary and in many cases was downright silly. If I had known what I now know about this process, I would not have requested a loan. The questions were demeaning to me personally and I couldn't help but feel like a 20 y/o kid applying for a loan to buy a $200K Lamborghini. 2008 aside, use good judgement. Really, A 800+ credit rating and $900K in equity should be all you need to know. Have the confidence that a 72 y/o with all of that should be able to figure out how to make his mortgage payments. As far as Clint is concerned, my only suggestion would be to start by sitting down with his client and explain the process that lies ahead and provide a detailed rationale for each step. Then at least the client can make an informed decision as to whether to move forward.
