Pat, Tina and Twila made my experience with the mortgage process a great one. There was an issue with the HOA insurance language, which if not thoroughly investigated by Pat, would have ended the deal. I have purchased a dozen properties in the last 25 years and THIS process was by far the best experience I've had. When Pat told me she would call with particular information she did every single time, believe me that is rare and I appreciated it given the stress involved. Additionally, those calls didn't end on Friday afternoon, she called or texted me several times during the weekend, again something that is extremely rare. Courtland was incredible! He was always there when needed. I was super impressed that he was willing to work after hours. He would be there after 5pm and even on the weekends if needed. We were in the unfortunate situation of having to change lenders within 30 days of needing to close. Courtland came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. We came to Southern Trust and Courtland because we were working with another lender and found out second hand that our loan officer left the company but failed to let us know. Our relator recommended Courtland as a man who had a good reputation at getting things done on time. When we first spoke with Courtland, our emphasis was getting to closing in 30 days on our new construction. The only thing Courtland promised was that he would give us his best and he would do everything possible to make the 30 day closing, but he said he'd try. Since we were already preapproved and had all of our loan docs in a zip file, we signed on with Courtland and away we went. As we were looking to close in 30 days, we knew that it was going to be a last minute thing in getting to the finish line. Well, little did we know of the fortitude and determination of Courtland who had us submitted to and approved by underwriting and we had two weeks to spare. If you're looking to work with a dedicated professional who will give you his all, Courtland is your guy. Go with Southern Trust and more importantly, Courtland Parnell.
