It’s difficult to explain how important this entire home buying process is without mentioning some of the common difficulties we’ve faced. My wife and I are both currently active duty service members stationed in San Antonio, TX and will be moving to the San Diego County area in the upcoming months. Needless to say, trying to find a home several states away can be quite difficult, even more so when you consider that we recently had a child and now have to deal with the process of the military in our current duty station, along with a daunting process with check out items in order to leave the area.
We were connected with Tracy and Jesse Garza through a mutual friend in the military who had nothing but excellent things to say about them, not only as real estate agents but as genuine people as well. Oddly enough, we had spoken with another friend that same week who at the time had recently gone through the home buying process coming from San Antonio and moved to San Diego, and he sent a photo of the Garza’s card in a text message and said “I highly recommend you reach out to Jesse”. It was at that point that we knew we had found a good real estate agent; however, good was a huge understatement.
Once we finally got in contact with Tracy and Jesse, we immediately felt a strong connection through our phone calls and text messages between all four of us. They were extremely personable and welcoming to all of our questions. When my wife and I finally decided to take a trip to California to view the area, they blocked off their entire day to ensure we found what we needed in such a small window. Of course, this was after the diligent work they had done to contact home builders and look at homes that fit our wants and needs list in order to narrow down our search. During our visit with the Garzas, we were blown away at how we immediately felt as though we had known each other for so long. Being in the military we move around constantly, so we’ve had our fair share of realtors to interact with and I can honestly say I have never felt so humbled and joyful of a single interaction with a realtor, let alone a realtor team such as Jesse and Tracy in my entire life.
What makes Jesse and Tracy stand out above all others is their background as a military family. Jesse was a prior Navy Chief in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. Both my wife and I are Corpsman and she is a Chief as well. This was such a plus for both of us as they understood everything we had and were going through during the move process, which made communicang what was going on in Texas that much easier for us. From the point of our first interaction unl now, they have been an extension of us communicating with our homebuilders, our loan officers and checking on our family constantly. Their hard work and dedication to ensuring we have all the answers we need and feel as stress free as possible have made this process enjoyable.
The Garzas are unique in that they are a realtor family that work so well together as a tremendous team. They’ve showcased that they are the pinnacle of what a real estate agent should be like through the experience they provide. We can’t say enough about how truly grateful we have been to have them not only as realtors, but as people in our lives. We know that finding a quality realtor that you trust and feel comfortable with is difficult and can sometimes be awkward, but with Jesse and Tracy we now have friends who we have been blessed with geng to know and will continue to know.
