I really wanted to like this place; I really did. When I picked up my dogs after a two day stay, not so much.
My larger dog, a basset, was fine. My smaller dog, a Maltese/Yorkie mix, apparently was terrorized. For three days after he came home, he was frighteningly fearful -- he wouldn't get out of my lap, he was very still when he did. He also developed kennel cough (yes, we had all the appropriate vaccinations). Now 6 months later, he still has a cough and wheeze that won't go away. He acts as if another dog attacked him or he was choked by with a leash.
I love the concept of the open pet experience; it just didn't work for my dogs.
FYI, I had also let them visit for an afternoon to see if they would get along. That trip went just fine.
All told, not counting the vet bills I had to pay, this was a very expensive experience.
