Micheal and his team were absolutely amazing!! The way they helped us make our dream come true was just amazing. Morgage Solutions was a pleasure to work with. However, it is impossible to aptly express the level of frustation we endured by the requirements of the underwriters. Some of their requirements were nothing short of absurb. Also, it would be so nice to enter into the loan applicaiton process and in the begining, fill out ALL the needed paperwork. What actually happens is a steady trickle of additional documents that need to be run down and signed. This became exasperating to say the least. Almost every time I sat down at my desk, another document or another signature was needed. With the initial documents we submitted, the underwriters should have had a very good overall view of our finances and our business. With this overall view, they should be able to get all needed documents to us within the first few days. There should not be a need for this endless "one more document" thing. If I ran my business in such an unorganized way we would soon be without customers. This all, of course, is due to profound incompetence with the underwriters and not a problem with the loan officer. However, even though the underwriters are not the same people as the mortgage company, the loan officer and their team is the face of loan process to us the customer. So the question is this, "Are all who are involved in the mortgage process working to resolve the absurdity that has apparently become a normal part of the process? Are all involved holding the underwriter's feet to the fire?" I am not advocating that the process of procuring a mortgage become sloppy or careless. I am simply suggesting that requirements could become a whole lot more sensible and the process more organized. Thanks for hearing me out. Wishing everyone a good day and thanks for your services!
