The first loan should have not withdrawn an excesive amount from my bank account for insurance, it made me struggle badly and I am still struggling to recover.

We started working with Mike Colomb a year ago for a purchase. We ended up paying cash for the house. After 6 months we reached out to do a refinance on the property and there were many hoops to jump through and Mike stayed with us through the entire process. He made it easy! He's very patient, knowledgeable, good communicator and we recommend his expertise to anyone looking to finance.

Everything went well as far as I am concerned. Trying to get everything done so we could close on time is probably the only thing I can think of. But everyone was working hard to get it done.

I can't say enough good things about Mike and his team. They proactively reached out to me with an ideal rate for me to consider a refinance. It is truly unbelievable but this refi (just about 18 months after I bought my home) is going to save me nearly $600 a month! Mike's approach is incredible: he focuses entirely on your success. He never pushes his own agenda, he just works hard to make sure your mortgage fits into your life without forcing you to change how you live it. I highly recommend MSF!

Honestly, the overall process was good to go. I have no experience to grade against with this being my first purchase but I feel that it was good. Close to the end of the process, I felt that communication slowed down & lacked in some areas. I didn't like that because that was the most important time & ultimately, I still wasn't totally clear on numbers but I was ok with the bottom dollar so I accepted it.

There is so much paperwork required but that is not something that we have control over. Michael and his staff were very helpful with the process.

The mortgage app is not easy to understand when your not very tech savvy, and as of right now I can’t even access my dashboard.

Some of the things that were being requested were only via Email. If you have an app used for tasks, push more for usage of the app. I’d get lost emails and forget what was needed/sent already. I’m not saying the lenders and assistants did a bad job at that, just trying to improve the app.

To be honest everything flowed. I was prepared to send the documents needs to make the process smooth.

The only "pain" was waiting for the closing date.

Mike is a rock star. Anytime I had questions he answered them. The whole process was confusing to me since this was my first home buy. But whenever I had doubts or was too confused, Mike pulled me through and made it a better experience. And to do it all over the phone was just amazing.

It has been so easy and super fast. We are very pleased with communication and effort put forth from my loan officer and so grateful

Closed in 21 days. Michael was very helpful and kept constant contact for all that he needed from me and how the process was going and he was always just a phone call away. Will use again if I ever need it. All in all a very pleasant experience.
